This is not just your everyday family picture. This moment holds a lot of bodies, a lot of love, and a LOT of fur. It was taken on Christmas of 2016 by a dear friend of mine, Therese, who is currently kicking cancer’s butt. She is feisty and stubborn, but she is also kind, quirky, and has the sharpest wit I know. Therese has taught me that family doesn’t end in blood; we choose who our family is, and she is a part of mine. This picture she took means everything to me and I am so glad I got to use it for my final product.
